Join us as an Executive Assistant

  • You’ll support the CEO of Private Banking and Wealth Management working closely with the Chief of Staff to enable effective execution of day-to-day business management, decision making and CEO led processes
  • You’ll run the day-to-day logistics of the CEO - owning planning, coordination and logistics while continuously improving ways of working to maximise productivity, efficiency and impact across the CEO agenda
  • This role offers regular exposure to senior leadership, key clients and internal and external stakeholders, operating at the centre of a complex, high‑profile franchise
What you'll do

As Executive Assistant, you’ll provide proactive, high‑quality support that enables the CEO to operate at pace, with clarity and focus, across a complex and demanding agenda.

Working directly with the CEO and in close partnership with the Chief of Staff, you’ll anticipate requirements, plan ahead, and ensure the CEO is fully prepared for meetings, travel and key interactions while acting as a discreet and trusted point of connection with senior stakeholders.

You’ll also be:

  • Own end‑to‑end management of the CEO’s diary, time and travel, ensuring forward planning, sequencing and prioritisation reflect business and personal effectiveness
  • Act as a trusted interface between the CEO and senior stakeholders, managing access, coordination and follow‑ups with sound judgement and discretion
  • Triage and manage incoming correspondence and requests, responding where appropriate and ensuring clear, timely handling of sensitive matters
  • Ensure all preparation and briefings for internal and external meetings, events and client engagements are organised as appropriate based on materiality
  • Maintain a strong overview of upcoming commitments, risks and pressures on the CEO agenda, flagging issues early and proposing solutions
  • A key interface with leadership and assistant communities across NWG and Boards
The skills you'll need

You’ll be highly organised, calm under pressure and comfortable operating at senior level, with the judgement to manage sensitive information and shifting priorities.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Experience supporting senior executives, with confidence engaging with leaders, clients and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and diplomacy
  • Strong judgement in managing time, priorities and competing demands of a CEO and an Executive agenda
  • Curiosity and commercial awareness of the business environment you support including an understanding of various external stakeholder groups
