Rivan Industries is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to supercharge our CEO’s time and impact. The world’s gaze is on domestic energy production like never before, a flashpoint in history that means we need to move faster than we thought. This role will enable more of the critical meetings, accelerate recruitment, and help launch fundraises to support this growth.

The role: 

  • Calendar organisation
    • Organise what we’re doing, why, when, with who, and how
    • Stop things slipping through the cracks and prioritise ruthlessly
  • Communication
    • With key stakeholders across recruitment, investors, and partners on email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp
  • Find and optimise key workflow bottlenecks
    • Isolate where things are bottlenecked
    • Build AI workflows or automations to remove bottleneck
  • Information & research across industry and the organisation
    • Gathering key information on new topics, markets, customers, industries
    • Researching trends, information across the organization,
  • General admin support
    • Meeting actions, Legal, finance, and data input
    • Travel & food 

 

Core skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s or Masters in related field (Preference to engineering & software)
  • Examples of exceptional ability (own projects, past achievements, other) 

 

General traits we’re after:

  • Obsessed with finding bottlenecks and speeding up processes (specifically using AI)
  • Amazingly organised. Loves systematically working through chaos creating order. 
  • First-principles and systematic in approach. More quantitative than qualitative. 

 

Specifics:

  • £40-60k base-salary
  • Share options as part of the early team
  • In-person work at HQ in South Bermondsey, London
  • Private health insurance
