Role Summary

The Executive Support team plays a crucial role in enabling our leaders and broader organisation to operate efficiently and effectively. As a Senior Executive Assistant, you will provide high quality, proactive support that not only manages day-to-day operational demands but also anticipates needs before they arise. This role requires strong leadership—helping drive best practices, fostering collaboration across fellow EAs and business management, and contributing to a cohesive, high performing team.

You will deliver a wide range of services, including complex diary and meeting management, proactive inbox management, streamlined handling of internal and external communications, coordination of international travel, maintenance of records and documentation, and expert guidance on tools, systems, and processes. Your ability to build strong partnerships, influence outcomes, and proactively connect work across teams will be key to supporting our leaders in an extremely fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

You will bring a strategic mindset, sound judgment and discretion and have the ability to operate confidentiality and in ambiguity. You will require a talent for building trust quickly and confidence in influencing senior stakeholders globally.

What you will be doing:

  • Complex diary management, supporting a global business function within LSEG
  • Sophisticated inbox management on behalf of the leader(s) & taking care of incoming communication, correspondence on behalf of the Executive
  • Using critical thinking to make connections across the business, internally and externally to pre-empt the leader(s) requirements
  • Working in partnership with the Business Manager to ensure efficiency for the leader(s)
  • Onsite and remote support in a hybrid working environment
  • Arranging standard, multi sector travel itineraries in conjunction with the travel team ensuring compliance with internal policies and ensuring appropriate security measures are in place for travel in high risk areas
  • Collation of briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships both internally and with clients and other key contacts at all levels
  • Leading the expense processes from raising claims, POs, setting up suppliers.
  • Ensuring the leader(s) is compliant and in line with LSEG governance procedures
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
  • Communication Presence – Always acting as a face of the leader.
  • Supporting the holiday coverage module
  • Onsite and remote support in a hybrid working environment, usually 3 days per week in the office, or as often as the role requires

What you will bring:                                               

  • Experience of supporting C-Suite or ExCo level leaders in complex, global environments is essential
  • Experience of a financial services company or other fast paced environments
  • Professionalism – Communication & organizational skills are key

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills;

  • Appetite for hard work and dedication to work hours required of the role.
  • Calm demeanour and able to function well under pressure;
  • Able to work well individually and part of teams across a matrixed environment;
