We’re looking for a creative and organized Event Marketing Specialist to join our events team. This role will be pivotal in the planning and execution of Hootsuite’s presence at sponsored and owned events. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Event Marketing and create strategic campaigns that are disruptive, creative and delightful. In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model. This role is open to applicants located in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Event Marketing. Please note that the role includes travel to events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support global events strategy including owned and sponsored events, with a primary focus on EMEA working cross functionally within the organization
  • Responsible for  all aspects of event planning including vendor management, logistics, content, speakers, communications plan, promotion plan, swag, av/tech, creative, agenda, travel, onsite staff, venue selection, onsite production, sales enablement and other logistics
  • Responsible for managing event budget and tracking expenses
  • Partner and collaborate with teams across the organization 
  • Report, analyze and interpret metrics around event performance. You will work closely with automation and sales to follow the event lead process and track ROI
  • Manage individual campaign budgets, while adhering to internal accrual and procurement process
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Travel 3-5 times per quarter

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Experience in event marketing preferably in enterprise SaaS and/or B2B
  • Experience managing vendors and onsite teams 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally. High level of responsiveness for critical time-sensitive planning
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs
  • Process/Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
