Events Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Executive to join our Harrods Events Team.

About the Role

The role of the Events Executive is hands-on and covers a multitude of areas. You will be responsible for the successful planning and implementation of PR, Marketing and Brand events in line with the global Events, PR & Marketing Strategy and seasonal calendar. This role will be responsible for leading and delivering multiple event strategies and project plans at a time, following the approval of the event briefs, and ensuring that these meet the planned objectives.

They will also ensure that event-related administrative and operational tasks run smoothly as well as ensure constant communication between all internal and external teams involved in the project. This position will work closely with the Events Managers in supporting all team members, where required and nurture direct reports, members and interns.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

You will be required to work some weekends, and late-night working will be required on an ad-hoc basis depending on events. Travel within UK and internationally may be required when working on external and international events.

About You

You will lead, project manage and deliver multiple PR, Marketing and Brand projects at a time, delivering them within the deadline and to Harrods’ Standards, setting the stage for luxury Eventing. You will also be part of a team delivering events internally in our Knightsbridge location alongside supporting the wider team delivering events both domestically and internationally.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Clear communication, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Be able to work well under pressure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of an event.
