We’re seeking an Account Executive to join our Sales team in London. This person will need to be available full-time and able to work on a remote-hybrid schedule of 3 days/week onsite and 2 days/week remotely. 

Account Executive:

As an Account Executive within Convene | etc.venues, you will be responsible for building on the Convene | etc.venues brand and developing business relationships and driving revenue across all properties in the global portfolio. 

This will be in alignment with the company's growth strategy. We need someone who can effectively uncover new opportunities, engage with our clients, and build meaningful relationships. The Account Executive will report directly to the Deputy Head of Sales.

What You’ll Do:

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing business relationships and driving revenue across all properties in the Convene portfolio, in alignment with the company growth strategy.

  • Maintain and grow knowledge of the Convene | etc.venues products and locations and help in building the brand locally and regionally.
  • To possess a clear understanding of the Portfolios business plan, locally, regionally and globally, ensuring that all personal targets are achieved to meet the overall sales objectives  
  • Conduct and coordinate thorough site inspections, virtual tours & demos, client appointments, and assist in account development meetings
  • Discover new local meeting and event decision makers, maintain and grow current and prospective clients, referral partners and new business contacts. 
  • Rapidly respond to all client enquiries and other communication and maintain up to date account detail for all relevant key accounts that you are responsible for. 
  • Generate, negotiate and close agreements to client specifications while adhering to internal pricing guidelines
  • Build your  knowledge of the competitor set and begin to form relationships with counterparts in these properties.
  • Join on familiarisation trips with your colleagues in order to help showcase our business products to our existing and  prospect business
  • Owns and cultivates a number of accounts that are selected based on location, volume and spend.
  • Targeted with sourcing copycat accounts, with a focus on increasing market share across the global portfolio of brands and products.
  • Responsible for soliciting and securing repeat business associated to their allocated account deck and pipeline
  • Drive revenue through conversion of new and existing opportunities
  • Lead on and process all allocated enquiries in a timely manner, aligned with Convene | etc.venues sales strategy
  • Ensure that, in line with our ‘Client First’ Sales approach, all ‘Meet & Greet’s’ are diarised /scheduled to increase client engagement and potential growth 
  • Where required, handle site tours on behalf of the U.K. Inbound Sales team 
  • Learn to create and maintain Account Plans for your allocated accounts and map out organisational structure in order to identify further growth opportunities 
  • Support the wider regional sales efforts in increasing market share and optimising value for clients across the portfolios brands
  • Optimise client experience and maximise revenue opportunities through technology and other event upsells to create additional revenue channels
  • Aggregate and record key account intel, metrics and feedback in Convene CRM to maximise insight
