The European Power Analyst will research and develop trading strategies focused on European power fundamentals. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of relevant markets.
About the Position
We're looking for an experienced European Power Analyst to help our team build out, research, and execute a portfolio of trading strategies in this sector. Our team has an open mandate to think about the existing successful trading that we do, and find new ways to marry fundamental analytics and European power market knowledge with Jane Street’s core quantitative trading strategy.
About You- 4+ years of professional experience in analyzing power fundamentals
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Knowledge of oil or gas physical/financial markets
- Proficiency in statistics
- Coding skills are a plus
- Fluency in English required
