Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our strategic growth initiative in Europe. This role is pivotal in driving the expansion of our market presence, fostering key partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities. The position will report to the SVP Global Sales & Business Development, based in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the Wi-Fi sector, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the wireless communications industry.
The ideal candidate must be based in Germany, France, or the United Kingdom and may work on either a part-time or full-time basis. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to expand Morse Micro's reach and impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with potential partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development efforts with the overall company strategy.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
  • Represent Morse Micro at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes to the executive team 
  • Own business development activities primarily in Australia, Europe and RoW based on the company priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the technology sector, preferably in wireless communications or IoT.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the wireless communications market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
