Job Description

The EU Data Act Compliance Operations Specialist to manage customer and business requests relating to its EU Data Act (EUDA) services. The role supports the delivery of compliant, efficient, and customer-focused operations by managing business onboarding, KYB verification, VIN ownership validation, data-sharing requests, and customer communications.

  • Working closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, and Technology teams, the EU Data Compliance Case Manager ensures all customer and business requests are processed in accordance with regulatory requirements, operational policies, and service level commitments.
  • The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases whilst maintaining a strong focus on compliance, quality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Onboarding & KYB Verification

  • Review and process business registration and onboarding requests.
  • Validate customer and company documentation.
  • Coordinate KYB verification activities and associated approvals.
  • Support sanctions screening and due diligence activities.
  • Manage requests for additional customer information where required.
  • Escalate high-risk or complex cases to Compliance, Legal, or Team Leaders.

VIN Ownership Verification

  • Review VIN submissions received from fleet, corporate, and third-party customers.
  • Assess vehicle ownership evidence, lease agreements, and supporting documentation.
  • Process VIN approval, rejection, and amendment requests in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate ownership records and audit trails.
  • Support VIN lifecycle management activities, including vehicle additions, removals, and ownership changes.

Case Management & Customer Support

  • Manage customer and business requests from receipt through to resolution.
  • Provide timely and professional communications to customers, fleet operators, and third parties.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations relating to EU Data Act services.
  • Maintain accurate records, case notes, and operational documentation.
  • Work closely with CRC teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Data Access & Compliance Administration

  • Manage and track requests for data access, portability, and sharing.
  • Ensure requests are processed in accordance with EU Data Act requirements and internal policies.
  • Support the maintenance of customer consent, data-sharing, and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with operational controls, governance requirements, and audit obligations.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance risks where appropriate.

Governance & Reporting

  • Support operational reporting and management information activities.
  • Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations.
  • Ensure appropriate evidence is maintained to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of operational procedures and guidance documents.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute ideas to simplify processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Support the implementation of operational improvements, automation opportunities, and future service enhancements.
  • Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Are analytical in their approach and confident using data and information to support decision-making.
  • Have experience within customer operations, compliance, case management, regulatory services, or customer support environments (desirable).
  • Have experience within the automotive, fleet, compliance, or other regulated industries (advantageous but not essential).

Additional Information

Location: Whitley, Coventry (JLR office)
Working Model: Hybrid (2 days working from home)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Fixed term: 12 months with possible extension 

Working Hours (rotational):

  • Week 1: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Week 2: 09:00 - 17:30
