Join ISS STOXX ESG’s Global Sanctions Sector as a Research Analyst and be part of our mission to enhance ESG research and investment products. Based in London, you will conduct in-depth research on individuals, companies, and corporate activities in the context of national and multilateral sanctions.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Comprehensive Research: Conduct thorough desktop research on individuals and companies designated under national and multilateral sanctions; Analyze corporate involvement of entities in countries covered by various U.S. state-level sanctions frameworks.

Analytical Reporting: Draft detailed research reports on these individuals and entities' activities, varying in length and depth, both independently and in collaboration with the team.

Product Enhancement: Participate in team processes aimed at strengthening our sanctions product offerings.

Client Support: Help solve client questions or concerns regarding our sanctions products.
QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in political science, international relations, conflict studies, or a related field.

At least 6 years of relevant experience related to national or international sanctions, international law or politics, due diligence or intelligence research

Fluency in English

Must have solid writing and research skills, including the ability to produce basic analysis.

Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.

Broad interest in the business and financial world.

Must have attention to details, ability to work towards deadlines, and good at managing tasks and prioritizing.
