One of the key requirements for the successful candidates is extensive experience using IFS 

The ERP Supply Chain Analyst at LGC plays a key role in supporting and improving our ERP platform (IFS cloud, IFS Apps9, Cedar Bay, Codesoft, Exstream) throughout global supply chain operations! This position guarantees alignment between business requirements and ERP functionalities by maintaining close collaboration with senior users, business analysts, and external suppliers. As the main point of contact for supply chain end users across the Group, you will be central to our operations!

We are looking for someone to play a pivotal role in delivering verified, scalable, and maintainable solutions while ensuring alignment to internal standards and established guidelines. Responsibilities include managing support tickets, contributing to solution documentation, and collaborating with multi-functional teams to improve system adoption and performance. To achieve these objectives, occasional international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support to users and collaborators in the effective use of the ERP systems, with a focus on IFS supply chain modules and inter-company processes.
  • Function as the lead liaison for supply chain business users across the group, ensuring swift resolution of support concerns and active participation to boost system adoption.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, technical teams, and external suppliers to build and deliver system improvements that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of complex functional and technical issues, using deep knowledge of IFS (Version 9 or higher) and basic knowledge of PL/SQL development tools.
  • Support the rollout of new modules and implementations across LGC sites, contributing to solution development, testing, training, and post-deployment support.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, build proposals, and change logs.
  • Contribute to the management of ERP solutions, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment to internal standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Participate in peer reviews and discovery workshops, providing functional insight and finding opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Monitor and analyse system usage and performance, recommending improvements to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and collaborators, translating technical concepts into business language and vice versa.
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional growth in the supply chain modules for the applications managed by the ERP team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFS ERP systems, especially Version 9 and later.
  • Solid grasp of global inter-company supply chain processes, including inventory, procurement, logistics, and order management.
  • Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies, organisational change, and system adoption strategies.
  • Awareness of regulatory standards such as GxP, ISO, and internal governance frameworks.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting and improving IFS ERP systems in a global business environment.
  • Proven capability to independently address complex functional and solution challenges.
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with multi-functional teams, including solution architects, business analysts, technical developers, and external vendors.
  • Track record of contributing to ERP module rollouts and system upgrades.
  • Experience in user training, collaborator engagement, and driving system adoption.

Technical Skills

  • Basic skills in PL/SQL and other SQL-based development tools for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Competence in using internal business systems and support tools to manage and track issues.
  • Strong documentation skills for crafting functional specifications, design proposals, and change logs.
  • Comfortable working with integration tools and APIs within the IFS ecosystem.
