Department Overview:

ING is rapidly expanding its ambitions within Equity Derivatives with a strategic focus on its corporate clients. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive range of equity derivative solutions to our clients across the wholesale bank. We aim to create a digitalized, frictionless environment that supports our growth and enhances our clients' experience. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Vice President to help us achieve these ambitions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role: 
Key responsibilities:

  • Quoting for clients and risk managing equity derivative positions.
  • Work with senior traders to manage and grow the equity derivatives portfolio with emphasis on single stocks and solutions for our corporate clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Risk Management and other stakeholders to deliver for our clients.
  • Risk manage and monitor exposures from the portfolio and ensure adherence to internal risk limits and policies.
  • Ensure that risk parameters are marked in an effective manner.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to optimise hedging of the portfolio.
  • Help identify new opportunities and contribute to the ambitions of the equity derivatives business.

Candidate Profile

Experience/Knowledge

Essential:      

  • Experience (5y+) trading equity derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of derivative pricing and hedging strategies.
  • Experience with volatility modelling and managing light exotic products.
  • Demonstrated ability to risk manage and produce consistent P&L.
  • Working knowledge of European equity derivatives market.
  • Degree holder in Finance or STEM subject.

Desirable:

  • Experience with corporate equity derivatives and the relevant products and structures.
  • Coding skills
