Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for an Entry Level Support Engineering Data Specialists to join the KC-46 Provisioning Support team, based in Tukwila, WA.
In this role you will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specification to evaluate and make recommendations. You will provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems.
The Support Engineering Data Specialist will apply engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis to ensure supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle. You will identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report. You will determine spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type. You will prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. You will review and evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty.

Knowledge with systems engineering integration of PLM and sustainment/logistics systems, and familiarity with sustainment analytics, readiness drivers, and lifecycle cost considerations are highly desirable. This position offers exposure to a broad range of technical disciplines across the entire product lifecycle and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact sustainment initiatives that connect engineering design to product support and services.
Position Responsibilities:

• Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations
• Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources
• Develops support systems to achieve supportability requirements
• Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports
• Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking
• Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components
• Evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts

Basic Qualifications - (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 + years of experience do you have working with aerospace industry specifications and standards, part and/or process requirements
• 1 + years of experience do you have reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1 + years' experience working in a structured logistics database such as SLICWave or PowerlogJ)
• 1+ years of experience in the Provisioning process
• 1 + years of supply chain experience in aerospace, defense or other industrial industries
• Bachelors Degree or higher
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment

Entry Level Summary pay range : $65,450 - $88,550
