Role Description: Risk Intelligence is responsible for developing critical services that support anti-money laundering efforts in the financial markets.

We are seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect with technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to influence Risk Intelligence LSEG technology strategy and compliance throughout the SDLC.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support application development teams and solution architects in navigating governance, privacy, compliance, and risk analysis.
  • Review LSEG standards, provide feedback to the standard's committee, and ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Architecture and the Risk Intelligence leadership team to maintain and develop an architecture roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Maintain the technology risk register for the service portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Cyber, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with cyber security and regulations such as DORA.
  • Support Directors of Engineering with annual business planning.
  • Work proactively with Senior Architects to co-create designs for shared services within Risk Intelligence.
  • Support M&A activities.
  • Own total cost of ownership models and projections.
  • Collaborate with the LSEG strategy department to provide Risk Intelligence data on tool usage, cloud adoption, business capability taxonomy, etc.
  • Ensure that service data is up-to-date and compliant in various tools such as LeanIX.
  • Lead and assist in the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Conduct architecture reviews.
  • Translate technical issues for non-technical audiences and vice versa.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • A track record of delivering Application and Cloud Solution Architectures.
  • Experienced in communicating with senior leadership and proven communication skills to work across technical and business teams.
  • Extensive experience selecting and implementing Cloud services using AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Good experience using cloud patterns such as multi-tenancy, sharding priority queue, throttling, sidecar and CAP theorem.
  • Understanding of polyglot persistence and hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions such as Document, Column Family and Key-Value.
  • Experience implementing Enterprise Integration Patterns.
  • Experience with authentication methods such as SAML, OIDC or OAuth2.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions for large systems that are scalable, extensible, performant, secure and highly available.
  • Awareness of GDPR, DORA and ISO standards.
