About Tektome
Tektome is building AI-native software for the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction).

Our platform helps leading architecture firms, contractors, engineers, and developers manage compliance, operational knowledge, and complex workflows using AI-first systems. While much of the industry still relies on rule-based tools and fragmented processes, we believe the next generation of AEC software will be intelligent, adaptive, and deeply integrated into how firms actually operate.

Today, Tektome products are already in production at major Japanese AEC firms, with active expansion into the UK, Europe, and North America.

We are now looking for an Enterprise Director to lead our commercial growth across the UK and Europe.

About the Role
This is not a traditional SaaS sales role.

We are looking for someone with deep AEC industry experience who can engage senior decision-makers as a peer — someone who understands how architecture, engineering, and construction firms operate and can help shape strategic AI adoption across the industry.

As Enterprise Director, you will own enterprise relationships across the UK and Europe, working directly with leadership teams at Tier 1 firms and guiding engagements from early strategic conversations through long-term partnership development.

You will work closely with Tektome’s founder and UK team to help define how AI-native platforms are adopted across the built environment sector.

What You’ll Do

Lead Enterprise Engagements
  • Own the full enterprise engagement cycle across the UK and Europe
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with architecture firms, contractors, developers, and engineering consultancies
  • Lead engagements ranging from focused pilots to multi-quarter innovation programs

Engage Industry Leaders
  • Work directly with Digital Directors, Innovation Leaders, Principals, and senior stakeholders at leading AEC organizations
  • Lead peer-level discussions around AI transformation, operational workflows, and digital strategy
  • Position Tektome as a long-term strategic partner rather than a software vendor

Discover and Translate Industry Workflows
  • Identify operational patterns and opportunities within customer organizations
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to translate customer workflows into scalable platform solutions
  • Help shape repeatable frameworks and industry-specific best practices

Shape Commercial Strategy
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, engagement structures, and go-to-market development
  • Help define the commercial playbook for AI-native AEC platforms in the UK and Europe
  • Provide market feedback that influences product direction and positioning

Partner with the UK Team
You will work closely with:
  • Solutions Architects
  • Technical pre-sales and delivery teams
  • Marketing and implementation specialists
  • Founder & CEO Naoki Kitamura
This role combines commercial leadership, strategic advisory, and industry relationship building.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience within the AEC industry
  • Strong understanding of architecture, engineering, construction, or infrastructure workflows
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and leading strategic customer relationships
  • Commercial experience in areas such as:
    • Enterprise partnerships
    • Advisory engagements
    • Technology transformation initiatives
    • Strategic accounts
    • Innovation programs

Ideal Backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates from:
  • Architecture and engineering consultancies
  • Construction or project management firms
  • Developers, owners, or infrastructure organizations
  • Digital transformation or innovation leadership roles within AEC
Examples may include:
  • Digital Director
  • Head of Innovation
  • Associate Director (Digital Transformation)
  • Principal Consultant
  • Strategic Industry Lead
  • Senior Project Director

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
  • Strong credibility within the AEC industry
  • Ability to engage executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Strategic thinking combined with commercial pragmatism
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
  • Ability to recognize operational patterns across organizations and industries
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Join a Highly Technical Team
You’ll collaborate with a deeply technical and internationally minded team focused on solving meaningful industry problems.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary and performance-based compensation
  • Equity opportunity
  • Hybrid working environment
  • London-based team and office
  • High ownership and growth opportunities
