As part of our "One Hitachi" philosophy, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect to partner with our sister company, Hitachi Rail, and act as a conduit between the 2 businesses. 

What you’ll be doing 

Working with the CIO & Hitachi Rail leadership, you'll play a key role as a strategic advisor on digital transformation projects for company mergers, acquisitions, and the seamless integration of technology solutions supplied by Hitachi Digital Services.

As well as being adept at building strong relationships and trust with stakeholders up to C-suite level, you'll have demonstrable experience of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

You'll be happy owning the solutioning process and driving the enterprise architecture framework, including technology, data, and security, and collaborate with various functional groups to understand business requirements, all the while ensuring the architectural designs adopt industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

What you bring to the team 

An ability to think creatively and work consistently to identify, develop and close opportunities across our technology portfolio, with multiple domain knowledge, including cloud, data/analytics, ERP, PLM, and Engineering applications.

  • At least 10 years experience as an Enterprise Architect.
  • Extensive experience in technology design, implementation and strategy.
  • Experience in TOGAF or Zachman framework and ITIL.
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure) based development / deployments is required.
  • Knowledge cyber security is essential.
  • An understanding of manufacturing operations / Rail industry operations will be an added advantage.
  • Education - Engineering Degree is preferred.
