FactSet seeks a dynamic Enterprise Architect to join our Platform Infrastructure Engineering Department, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture. The Enterprise Architect will contribute to building and managing an enterprise-wide, future-state architectural model that enables distributed decision-making, provides data insights, connects technology and business, and supports consulting and solutions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for disseminating best practices, fostering an architecture mindset, and utilizing our deep pool of technical knowledge. A significant emphasis will be placed on FactSet's enterprise Generative AI efforts.
Responsibilities:

Drive significant architectural impacts by leveraging advanced technical expertise in both a) expansive, enterprise-wide projects and b) detailed, project or technology-specific efforts.

Build a thorough understanding of our current and transition technical state and future goals, and align architectural vision across diverse engineering groups.

Enable technical design decisions, identify gaps in current architectures, and work closely with functional and technical teams.

Develop an engagement process with key domain architects in the organization to ensure diverse requirements and perspectives are accounted for in the technical direction.

Monitor the current-state solution portfolio and identify deficiencies and misalignments with business requirements.

Aided in due diligence activities and assessed target architecture and integration strategy for M&A.

Drive improvement of the underlying architectures and capabilities of the technology.

Understand business capabilities (current and future state) and design corresponding enterprise system designs.

Define enterprise architecture vision's principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns.

Mature our practices around standardizing, storing, and updating architecture diagrams and documentation that provide an accurate and clear view of our current technical state.

Assisted in governance activities associated with assurance and compliance from an architectural standpoint.
Minimum Requirements:

10+ years of software experience with significant time spent in complex architectural roles.
Critical Skills:

Proven track record in understanding modern technology trends and risks.

Experience with cloud technologies and application modernization
Additional Skills:

Excellent communication and leadership skills
-
Experience within the FSI industry is a bonus.
Education:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
