Our blended teams of local and nearshore talent are optimised to deliver high quality and collaborative solutions.

Founded in 2013, Amach was created to solve a specific problem in aviation: too much complexity, too little usable intelligence. We help airlines modernise their operating model using cloud, data and Al-delivered by teams with deep aviation domain expertise.
Our goal is to maximize airlines' operational efficiency by optimizing resource use, reduce costs and increase customer experience and satisfaction.

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to be embedded with our customer, a leading aviation operator, where you will work directly with their technical and business stakeholders to design and guide the implementation of scalable, secure cloud and AI-driven solutions. In this customer-facing role, you will lead the strategic technology vision across their enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving innovation in data and artificial intelligence capabilities. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between the customer's business needs and their technology roadmap.

Please note: this role operates on a hybrid model, with 3 days per week in our customer's West London office.

Key responsibilities & duties include:

  • Lead enterprise architecture strategy and governance embedded with the customer's teams, ensuring alignment with their aviation operational and business objectives
  • Design and oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions on AWS, working closely with the customer's infrastructure and development teams
  • Drive AI and emerging technology adoption across the customer's organisation, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across the customer's business units, providing clear communication on technical trade-offs, risks and opportunities
  • Establish and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards and best practices tailored to the customer's aviation sector requirements
  • Collaborate with the customer's teams to assess current systems, identify modernisation opportunities and create phased migration plans
  • Support the customer in building cyber resilience and security-first architecture patterns across their technology landscape

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience, with demonstrated expertise in designing large-scale, mission-critical systems
  • AWS Certified qualification (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent level)
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles and cyber-aware architecture design
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a customer-facing technical leader, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, data platforms and modern technology stacks

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working within the aviation or transportation sectors
  • Enthusiastic about AI and emerging technologies with an AI-adaptive mindset
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with containerisation, Kubernetes and DevOps practices
