Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 800 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

The role
We are seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer with a strong focus on the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem to join our Enterprise Technologies team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Atlassian Cloud ecosystem — including Jira, Confluence, Assets, and Statuspage.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our business applications remain secure, efficient, and aligned with organisational needs.
This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Atlassian administration who wants to grow their skills in SaaS management, integrations, and automation across the enterprise stack.

You’re welcome to work in our office in Amsterdam or remotely.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian Cloud applications (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Access, Statuspage).
  • Design and manage Jira workflows, automation rules, custom fields, and permission schemes aligned to organizational standards.
  • Implement and support Atlassian Access for identity federation (SSO, SCIM) with Azure Entra ID.
  • Manage Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions, ensuring consistent governance and structure across departments.
  • Develop and maintain automations and integrations using Atlassian APIs, webhooks, and tools like Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or similar.
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, and IT Governance to ensure adherence to data retention, access control, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, change logs, and configuration records for Atlassian environments.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and usage metrics, ensuring uptime and proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with project teams and business owners to optimize use cases and deliver platform enhancements.
  • Provide user support, training, and best-practice guidance for Atlassian tools.
  • Support related SaaS integrations (e.g., Slack, Zoom, DocuSign etc) as needed for cross-tool workflows.

We expect you to have:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Atlassian Cloud (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of Jira project configurations, workflows, automation, permission models, and notification schemes.
  • Experience with Confluence space management, page templates, and content governance.
  • Familiarity with SSO, SCIM, and user lifecycle management via Azure Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace apps and their configurations.
  • Experience with API integrations or automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Understanding of SaaS governance principles, including BCP/DRP documentation and access reviews.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for process improvement, automation, and knowledge sharing.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nebius.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment that values initiative and innovation.

We’re growing and expanding our products every day. If you’re up to the challenge and are excited about AI and ML as much as we are, join us!
