What's exciting about the role 

For our 2Checkout business, we are looking for a smart, adaptable and autonomous Enterprise Account Executive with SaaS or Payments experience to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate has experience of closing new customers and generating revenue while achieving individual goals. This role is focused on generating net new revenue therefore this person must be able to creatively use outreaching techniques and convert opportunities with support from the marketing team. You will also need to clearly communicate and build relationships with founders and other C-level executives of enterprise-sized SaaS and software companies.

Your role is essential in helping us set, drive, and execute on our revenue goals.

You can work fully remote anywhere in Europe or from one of our offices, if you prefer.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, carrying out demo's through to negotiating contracts and closing deals 
  • Build pipeline with the support of Marketing team, as well as your own self-sourced opportunities 
  • Understand the industry and be able to articulate 2Checkout’s value proposition and solutions using appropriate value-based sales approaches 
  • Work with management and across departments (Marketing, Product, CSMs, Professional Services, etc.) to determine the most effective approach for each sales opportunity. 
  • Learn and refine new sales skills with regular Account Executive sales training sessions and continuously learn and develop yourself as a thought leader in the industry. 
  • Drive sales by managing opportunities in pipeline and closing 3-4 deals per year 
  • Oversee all sales activity and monthly forecasting of revenue in Salesforce 
  • Achieve Quarterly Sales Goals 

Skills and Experience we desire 

  • 5+ years of closing experience 
  • Proven track record selling payment technology or SaaS products, managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise deals 
  • Strong experience in outbound prospecting and generating pipeline within a given territory 
  • Experience with complex, consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding your quota 
  • You are curious, always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and give & receive feedback 
  • A self-starter: when you see a need, you address it 
  • Collaborator: you enjoy working with others and helping whenever possible 
  • Positive attitude: you pride yourself on being an optimist
