Overview of the Role

Our team sells the full Salesforce product portfolio into sub-verticals of the Energy & Utilities industry, partnering with some of our most strategic enterprise customers. Salesforce is seeking a curious, commercially astute, and highly credible Enterprise Account Executive to own and grow a small number of enterprise accounts.

This is an enterprise-facing role with responsibility for driving expansion through value-based, vision-led selling. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, guiding customers through digital transformation and industry disruption while articulating Salesforce’s differentiated value proposition.

The successful candidate will combine strong executive presence with humility, collaboration, and deep customer empathy, contributing meaningfully to Salesforce’s culture and our Ohana.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute account strategies that align Salesforce’s solutions with customer business objectives, supporting retail digital transformation.

  • Build strong relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders in IT, Marketing, and Digital teams to position Salesforce as a trusted advisor.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Solution Engineers, Industry Leads, and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and understand how Salesforce’s technology can solve key industry challenges like omni-channel commerce, personalisation, AI-driven insights, and operational efficiency.

  • Meet and exceed pipeline and sales activity targets, contributing to overall revenue growth for the Retail Vertical.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of the Energy market

  • Extensive experience selling enterprise software at scale, managing large, complex deal values

  • Ability to understand business challenges and articulate the value of Salesforce's solutions to address these challenges

  • A self-starter who is driven, competitive, and eager to achieve significant revenue targets

  • Experience working with partners, advisory firms, and cross-functional teams to drive results

  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining focus on long-term growth

Unleash Your Potential
