The perfect candidate can be located in Ireland or the UK. Our Fortune 100 tech client is looking for candidates with strong music, lyrics, metadata, data analyst, translation backgrounds.
Position: English Music Specialist
Location: Remote, UK based
Workweek: 5 days a week (Monday- Friday) 40 hours/week
Competitive Salary: £31,850
Permanent Contract with benefits

As a Music Specialist you will be responsible of analyzing Music Lyrics Content in English. 65% of the time transcribing lyrics, 25% proofreading/editing and 10% analyzing metadata. Excellent linguistic skills, music knowledge. You will need passion for technology and a will to question the current workflows with the mindset to improve tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Native proficiency in English is a must.
- Candidates having any linguistic background / previous experience transcribing lyrics in English will be a plus.
- Passionate about music and media and well-versed in pop culture and music history
- Knowledgeable in artist discography
- Highly detail-oriented and feel comfortable multitasking and working in a dynamic environment while maintaining the quality and quantity of their work.
- Excellent research skills.
- Ambitious individuals who work well both independently and with a team.
- Focused, upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Thorough knowledge of macOS is preferred
- Must be currently located in Ireland or UK.
