The Role
We are looking for a talented Engineering Tech Lead to join our R&D department.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated engineering technical lead to join our incredible team.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Leadership and Mentoring
- Provide technical leadership, mentor other developers and drive technical excellence by contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve the development workflow, tooling and processes
- Development and Implementation
- Full stack development with a focus on writing clean, efficient and reusable code, focusing on both user experience and application performance
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the various members of the team (Engineering Manager, Product Management, Developers, Automation etc) to deliver high-quality products and services
Your Experience and Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering
- 8+ year experience in software development
- Proven experience with both front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, etc) and back-end technologies (Node.js, NestJS, OpenSearch/Elastic Search, Postgres, NX Monorepo etc)
- Strong computer science background.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure preferred)
- Solid knowledge of Programming methodologies and design patterns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, high-quality code
- Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodologies and related tools (Azure DevOps) - an advantage
- Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture and module federation packages - an advantage
- Experience with Jest - an advantage
