We are now building and scaling our engineering teams in London and we are looking for experienced Tech Leads. This is an exciting opportunity to be among our first Technical Leads based in London and shape the future of our R&D teams in the site. 

You will join one of monday's Core Engineering groups focused on re-designing core architectural foundations for better stability, performance, and scale. You'll drive the development of infrastructure features that shape our product's future from UI to database.

Please note this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our London office (Fitzrovia).


About The Role:

You will work with experienced and highly talented engineers — who love what they do — with cutting-edge technologies in a data and impact-driven environment. We promote transparency, full ownership, teamwork, and a no-ego policy.

Our engineering department comprises different groups, each responsible for a crucial domain in the monday.com product. With over 300 engineers, we operate as part of cross-functional teams, defining, improving, building, and delivering features collaboratively. 

What you will do:

  • Be part of an R&D domain technical leadership, closely affect the company products architecture and craftsmanship.
  • Evolve our architecture and engineering to support the ever growing scale of users, features and data.
  • Work with experienced and highly talented developers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.
  • Work closely with Product and Design, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Our Stack - React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL

Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.

Requirements

  • Technical leadership experience (Architect/tech lead or similar roles).
  • Strong proven technical skills and a passion for developing products that people love and use everyday.
  • Experience in Full-stack development with a focus on backend.
  • Experience building user facing products on the web in large scale.
  • Understanding of product and a passion for building software that provides a great experience.
  • Team player, strong communication skills, and empathetic.
  • Focus on quality and simplicity.
