JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as the Engineering Project Handler and help create a cleaner, safer future for all.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages certification projects for EMC devices testing.
  • Determines project specifications such as: scope, cost, time, sample requirements, technical documentation etc., by analyzing client input, available data and product construction.
  • Collaborates with Laboratory Team by preparing data sheets and instructions, scheduling and reviewing work of Laboratory Technicians and establishing completion dates.
  • Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, completion date etc., and explains UL procedures and requirements.
  • Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product evaluations and plans review.
  • Develops test requirements for products beyond the scope of existing standards, or those involving unique features requiring frequent use of independent judgment.
  • Develops special test methods and test equipment.
  • Determines areas in which the product may not be in compliance with the applicable Standard based requirements.
  • Plans, conducts and supervises code and regulatory related projects of major magnitude and scope.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Graduado en grado superior de Formación Profesional (preferably related to: EMC, Radio Frequency, telecommunications, electrical engineering or similar).
  • Around 2 years of working experience directly related to EMC.
  • Experienced with the utilization of Electrical Test Equipment.
  • Around 1 year of experience working with measurement equipment (e.g., Multimeter, Oscilloscope etc.).
  • Knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the field evaluation business.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
  • Good written and verbal English language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong client focus.
