Engineering Programme Manager

Engineering Programme Manager 

As an Engineering Programme Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of high-impact infrastructure programmes from concept to completion. You’ll manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure everything runs smoothly—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. 

This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep knowledge of construction and engineering processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and oversee the successful delivery of large infrastructure programmes. 
  • Manage programme plans, budgets, schedules, and resources. 
  • Coordinate interdependent projects and ensure alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Mitigate risks and manage change across the programme lifecycle. 
  • Engage with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. 
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in programme delivery. 

Who Do We Need 

We are looking for significant experience managing large-scale defence and nuclear infrastructure programmes. 

You will have: 

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Expertise in programme management methodologies. 
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource planning. 

Qualifications 

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Professional Certifications (e.g., APM, PMI, or similar). 

Location 

Warrington, Manchester or Cumbria 

Security Requirements 

UK Security Clearance may be required for some roles.
