Strategic & Recruitment

  • Define and execute the hiring and recruitment strategy for the engineering function: capacity planning, role structuring, interview frameworks, pipeline management.
  • Vet and challenge product requirements in collaboration with Product, ensuring they are viable, complete, and aligned with engineering capacity and constraints.
  • Manage escalation of critical bugs (severity, triage, coordination, stakeholder communication).

Finance, Legal & Compliance

  • Administer invoicing, expense control, payroll coordination, and cost management within the engineering organisation.
  • Support legal and contract matters relevant to engineering (e.g. NDAs, vendor contracts, service agreements) by liaising with Legal.
  • Ensure information security compliance and governance (access control, audits, policies, internal/external compliance frameworks).
