Join us in redefining the creator economy with AI

Fanvue is the fastest-growing creator monetisation platform in the creator economy. We are the leading AI-powered creator-first platform, designed to empower creators worldwide to directly monetise their audience. We’re on a mission to redefine the creator economy by empowering creators to connect, share, and earn more efficiently.

🎯 The Role
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead some of Fanvue’s most business-critical streams across Creator Earnings and Acquisition & Activation, while also championing engineering performance, stability, and delivery velocity.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate as a player-coach. You’ll own outcomes across both external growth metrics and internal engineering excellence, building high-performing teams and mechanisms that scale with the business.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Own engineering delivery and partner closely with Product to drive Creator Earnings, NRR, Creator Conversion, Activation, and K-Factor

  • Lead the engineering roadmap for Creator Earnings, including monetisation features, partner integrations, and platform services

  • Build and scale the Acquisition and Activation streams, improving onboarding, reducing time to first earnings, and embedding viral growth loops

  • Champion engineering performance and reliability, holding your teams accountable to elite DORA metrics

  • Embed a strong P0 post-mortem culture, ensuring incidents lead to real, prioritised improvements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior engineers through high-quality 1:1s, coaching, and clear expectations

  • Act as a first point of escalation for incidents, owning reliability under a You Build It, You Run It model

  • Conduct hands-on architectural and code reviews, maintaining a high bar for quality and scalability

  • Monitor and communicate progress across both business KPIs and engineering metrics, using clear, data-driven narratives

  • Proactively manage technical debt to protect long-term velocity

👀 Who You Are

  • A senior engineering leader with a deep sense of ownership and accountability

  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach, combining people leadership with hands-on technical judgment

  • Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems on AWS, using modern, containerised architectures

  • Product- and business-minded, able to connect engineering work directly to outcomes like Avg. Earning Per Creator, NRR, and K-Factor

  • Experienced working in high-velocity environments where speed and stability are not trade-offs

  • Fluent in DevOps and reliability metrics, with a proven track record of improving Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, Change Failure Rate, and MTTR

  • A strong communicator with the confidence to challenge priorities, protect quality, and make tough decisions

  • Someone who believes deeply in You Build It, You Run It and leads by example

You’ll Thrive Here If

  • You enjoy owning outcomes, not just managing teams

  • You like operating at the intersection of product growth and engineering excellence

  • You care deeply about performance, reliability, and long-term velocity

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by impact

⚠️ You’ll Struggle Here If

  • You prefer purely people management without technical accountability

  • You see reliability as someone else’s problem

  • You’re uncomfortable holding high standards under pressure

🌍 Why Join Fanvue?

  • Lead streams that directly impact creator earnings and company growth

  • Influence both product direction and engineering culture

  • Competitive salary aligned with senior engineering management bands

  • A culture that values innovation, ownership, transparency, and speed

  • Unlimited holiday

  • Remote working

  • Flexible hours, according to when you perform best

  • Budget for growth and wellbeing

Fanvue is for Everyone
We know that diverse teams build better products. Even if you do not meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Many great people grow into parts of a role, and we value potential just as much as experience.
