The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, who can help take our engineering teams to the next level - as we scale. You’ll lead high‑impact teams delivering innovative, AI‑powered solutions that improve healthcare operations for our clients.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing people management, technical contribution, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑growing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and support 1–2 engineering teams, partnering closely with Tech Leads to ensure teams are well‑supported, unblocked and set up for success.
Align engineering delivery with business goals by working closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Customer Success and the wider business.
Drive technical excellence, contributing through code reviews, architectural discussions and hands‑on coding where appropriate.
Guide the evolution of our platform, helping shape scalable, cloud‑native systems as we grow.
Grow and develop engineers, providing coaching, feedback and career support to help individuals do their best work.

Our Tech Stack
We don’t expect experience with everything below, but familiarity with modern cloud‑native systems is important.
Backend: Node.js with TypeScript
Frontend: SvelteKit
Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform
Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including: Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, API Gateway
What We’re Looking For
Essential
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering management role.
Proven experience delivering early‑stage products from the ground up, ideally in a startup or scale‑up environment.
Strong understanding of scalable, cloud‑native architecture (GCP experience preferred).
Experience with modern serverless technologies (e.g. Cloud Run, Functions, Pub/Sub).
Comfortable remaining hands‑on when needed, including reviewing and writing production code.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Experience working in regulated environments, such as healthcare.
Desirable
Experience scaling engineering teams or organisations (e.g. from a small team to 20+ engineers).
Familiarity with the US healthtech ecosystem, such as Epic or similar platforms.
