Job Description

The Flow Mobile Team is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to shape the future of our product strategy and customer experience. As a skilled engineering leader, you will play a crucial role in our company’s growth, driving a key roadmap to enhance our mobile offerings.

Our Mobile SDKs serve as a critical integration point for businesses connecting to our payment solutions, making mobile technology a core component of our growth strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage and support the mobile engineering team working on proprietary SDKs, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of new product features across our multi-stack ecosystem (iOS, Android, React-Native).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and ensure SDK compatibility with web and mobile native ecosystems.
  • Be accountable for architecture decisions, technical solutions, and the successful delivery of projects.
  • Maintain a positive team environment and champion engineering best practices.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of comprehensive user documentation.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications

  • Passion for leading technical teams, acting as both a leader and a mentor.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams tackling complex and high-impact problems.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining high-quality, consumer-facing mobile applications and SDKs for iOS, Android, and React-Native platforms.
  • Track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience architecting scalable, high-efficiency, and highly available systems.
  • Deep understanding of mobile performance optimizations and debugging techniques.
  • Strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Expertise in mobile security, authentication, and data handling best practices.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment for Mobile Apps or SDKs using DevOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based application development (AWS preferred).
  • Eager to learn new skills and adopt the best tools for the job.
  • Previous experience working in the fintech space.
  • Familiarity with WebAssembly, WebViews, and hybrid app development.
