Lead and build a team of engineers in developing foundational data collection systems at Spotify. Ensure technical delivery and foster collaboration across teams.
We’re launching two brand-new teams within the Data Collection Product Area of Spotify’s Data Platform Studio, each made up of 4–5 engineers across a mix of experience levels.
Team Palico will shape the future of developer experience for data collection at Spotify. By building a unified layer of intuitive, powerful tools on top of our core platforms—Gabito for event delivery and UBI for user-behavior instrumentation—the team will empower engineers across Spotify to build with confidence and speed.
The second team, whose mission is now coming into focus, will take end-to-end ownership of Spotify’s Event Sender SDKs across Android, iOS, JavaScript, and C++—software that sits at the very edge of our ecosystem and underpins how data flows from every Spotify client. Together, these teams offer a rare chance to build foundational systems from the ground up, influence technical strategy from day one, and leave a lasting mark on how Spotify understands and evolves its products through data.
