We are currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor (Escalators) to join our Sales team on a full-time basis. This is a nationwide role with focus on conducting equipment surveys for Escalator modernisation, full replacement and repair projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable for site visits and surveying the equipment in according to KONE standards, respecting safety rules
- Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation and pictures requested
- Uploads data from site surveys into CRM
- Updates global database by request and provides reports
- Takes part in client and internal meetings, work groups, related to quality and technical issues, provides technical recommendations, maintains excellent relationships with customers
Professional Requirements
- Previous escalator experience in service, repairs or installation
- NVQ3 in escalators is desirable, but not mandatory
- Technical knowledge on various types/manufacturers of escalators
- Curious attitude towards equipment and environment
- Knowledge of Safety and Maintenance actions (for example: how to access the inner workings of the escalator.)
- Strong customer skills
We are interested to speak to Escalators engineers, who would like to step into the surveying field, work closely with clients and contribute to customer Escalator Modernisation/Replacement/Major repairs solutions.
