We are currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor (Escalators) to join our Sales team on a full-time basis. This is a nationwide role with focus on conducting equipment surveys for Escalator modernisation, full replacement and repair projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for site visits and surveying the equipment in according to KONE standards, respecting safety rules
  • Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation and pictures requested
  • Uploads data from site surveys into CRM
  • Updates global database by request and provides reports
  • Takes part in client and internal meetings, work groups, related to quality and technical issues, provides technical recommendations, maintains excellent relationships with customers

Professional Requirements

  • Previous escalator experience in service, repairs or installation
  • NVQ3 in escalators is desirable, but not mandatory
  • Technical knowledge on various types/manufacturers of escalators
  • Curious attitude towards equipment and environment
  • Knowledge of Safety and Maintenance actions (for example: how to access the inner workings of the escalator.)
  • Strong customer skills
