Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our AMSI team at MMC Corporate This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
What can you expect?
- Participate in working closely with architects and consultants in setting up infrastructure which involves installation and configuration of Om-Prem to Cloud Migrations, Web/App Tier setup and configuration, load balancing and failover, etc.
- Interact with various infrastructure support groups like network engineering, load balancers teams, firewall group, data center tier 1 operations, UNIX Admin etc. and application development teams during issue resolution, change implementation, outages, etc.
- Timely renewal of all SSLs Certificate either on Load-balancer or server to avoid any application outages
- Support issues related to Windows middleware components such as IIS setup, applications pools creations on Windows platform, IIS/ App Pool recycles, CPU/ disk space issues, service alerts, logs mining, logs archiving, SSL certificates installation, etc.
- Perform assigned activities to help improve service efficiency and effectiveness using AI/ML & other automation tools
- Supports the implementation of application performance improvement initiatives and helps other technical groups on process improvement initiatives, as necessary
- Participate in writing support related Unix/Linux shell scripts for logs archiving, automation of manual tasks/email alerts, system administration tasks, etc.
- Support operational excellence by identifying ongoing operational issues, root-cause analyses on system outages and identify the relevant remediation plans to strategically address them
- Ensure to have zero security vulnerabilities and minimal severity 1/2 issues in the system whether servers or applications. If any are reported, facilitate quick remediation basis this associated risk / severity
We will count on you to:
- Experience on any incident management and change management tool like SNOW
- Knowledge of AWS console and its components
- Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in analyzing server and application logs, etc.
- Flexible enough to stretch beyond normal office hours as and when required depending on the criticality of the issue, etc. or to meet any project deadlines
What makes you stand out?
- 3+ years of experience in administering & supporting middleware technologies such as IIS, Oracle WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, Apache etc. on both Windows & Linux operating systems.
- Must have very good understanding of EAR/WAR files build / deployment and management
- Experience on Configuring profiles and other configurations like JDBC, JMS
- Trouble shooting skills by analyzing thread, heap dumps, system out and Error logs
- Experience on tuning WebLogic, Jboss and Tomcat Application Servers to improve performance
- Experience in log analysis& application troubleshooting
- Experience on writing PowerShell & shell scripts
