The role involves technical proposal preparation, risk analysis, cost control, and optimizing project proposals in collaboration with sales and technical teams.
As a Technical Proposals Application Engineer, you will be responsible for
- Collaborating closely with the commercial manager and sales team during deals negotiation, focusing on the technical scope preparation.
- Analyzing technical specifications for tenders and Requests for Quotations, evaluating Scope of Supply and Risk Factors
- Defining and prepare comprehensive Scope of Work, optimizing products/units, digital training, advanced engineering, schedule, industrial scheme, and performance calculations.
- Developing and manage the cost control of all offered services.
- Identifying and mitigate technical implementation risks, ensuring effective management of technical risk.
- Engaging relevant functions to address deviations and specific requests, optimizing proposal generation.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of ITO processes and tools alongside KS/Services counterparts.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor in technical field from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Background preferred)
- Have familiarity or interest in Oil & Gas Rotating Equipment and their main principles (Gas Turbines, Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressors, Steam Turbines, etc...)
- Have desire to be part of a global organization and play and work in the Energy Transition Space
- Be able to communicate both written and spoken fluently in English
- Be able to travel with short notice, if required
- Have excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Be a team player dedicated to the company’s success.
- Have excellent communication and coordination abilities.
