Engineer - Configuration Management supports product and program configuration control across the lifecycle. This role helps maintain product definition integrity through baseline management, change control support, documentation accuracy, and status accounting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support configuration management for assigned products or programs
  • Maintain approved baselines and related records
  • Support engineering changes, releases, deviations, and waivers
  • Help ensure product data is accurate and aligned across systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement approved changes
  • Support status accounting, metrics, and traceability
  • Assist with audits, document reviews, and data quality checks
  • Identify and communicate configuration data issues
  • Support continuous improvement in configuration processes

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of technical documentation, BOMs, and change control
  • Bachelor’s degree (not essential) or equivalent domain experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired Characteristics

  • Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Internship, co-op, or early career experience in configuration management, engineering support, manufacturing, quality, or document control
  • Familiarity with PLM, ERP, or document management systems
  • Tariff and export control experience or exposure is desirable
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional teamwork skills
