The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a key resource for fostering positive employee relations and ensuring that all workplace issues are addressed in a fair, equitable, and consistent manner. This role involves managing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and working to resolve conflicts while promoting a positive organizational culture.
We are looking for Employee Relations Specialist who will:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and disputes.
Facilitate resolution of conflicts between employees or between employees and management through mediation, counseling, and problem-solving techniques.
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
Ensure that company policies and procedures are communicated effectively and adhered to, including those related to employee conduct, performance, and ethics.
Assist in creating and updating employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
Develop and deliver training sessions for employees and managers on topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and employee rights.
Provide guidance and support to managers on handling employee issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Stay current on labor laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company’s policies and practices comply with legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records of investigations, resolutions, and disciplinary actions in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
Generate reports on employee relations issues, trends, and resolutions for management review.
Analyze data related to employee relations issues to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
3 years of experience in HR, Employee Relations, or a related field, with a strong background in conflict resolution and policy enforcement.
Knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and best practices in employee relations specifically in the EMEA region.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in English in a business environment.
