At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Are you ready to build in a high growth environment? Do you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy creating structure where none exists, and want to work on a collaborative, high trust People Team? Snowflake is expanding our global footprint, and we are hiring an Employee Relations Business Partner to support our tremendous growth across EMEA.

This is a hybrid role with two days per week in our London offices.

AS AN EMPLOYEE RELATIONS BUSINESS PARTNER, YOU WILL:
  • Lead end to end investigations across EMEA, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom.

  • Manage grievance processes, disciplinary actions, documentation, and case strategy.

  • Partner closely with local Business Partners in France, Germany, Netherlands, and the UK to align on country specific employment law.

  • Project manage workforce changes such as restructures and RIFs, ensuring compliance with country requirements.

  • Build ER frameworks, policies, and processes in markets where they do not yet exist.

  • Provide pragmatic, commercial guidance to business leaders while balancing fairness, risk, and business impact.

  • Work directly with senior leaders during sensitive or complex ER issues.

  • Drive alignment across cross functional stakeholders during country based workforce planning.

  • Manage high case volume, shifting priorities, and rapid pace with resilience and sound judgement.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping navigate both black and white ER matters and complex grey scenarios.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Significant hands on Employee Relations experience across key European markets, namely the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland and The Netherlands.

  • Strong experience conducting formal investigations and managing grievances end to end.

  • Experience partnering with works councils or trade unions in France, Germany, and Poland.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage RIFs or workforce changes, ideally with ownership rather than support only.

  • Experience building ER policies or processes where little or no infrastructure existed.

  • High EQ, excellent judgement, and the ability to tailor recommendations to business context.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with experience advising senior leaders.

  • Comfort working in a fast paced, go to market heavy environment.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining organised and steady under pressure.

  • A collaborative mindset and strong relationship building skills across diverse cultures.

YOU WILL RECEIVE BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
  • Deep experience with works councils in France or Germany, including managing consultation timelines.

  • Prior experience in both a large global tech organisation and a scrappy, resource constrained scale up.

  • Experience drafting or implementing ER policies in multiple EMEA countries.

  • Ability to operate in the gray space and pivot quickly as business needs evolve.

  • Experience partnering with legal teams on complex ER investigations.

  • A track record of building processes, templates, and ER systems from the ground up.

  • Demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a builder mindset.

  • Experience supporting go-to-market organisations.

  • Comfort working with direct, candid, culturally diverse stakeholders.

WHY JOIN OUR PEOPLE TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, collaborative, and tight knit People Team. We operate situationally, using judgement rather than heavy policy. We support the business by understanding the nuance of each case and providing guidance that is practical, commercial, and grounded in fairness.

You will help define how Snowflake approaches Employee Relations across EMEA while partnering with experienced Business Partners, Legal, and senior leaders. This role offers meaningful ownership, the ability to build, and the chance to make a lasting impact on Snowflake’s culture and people experience.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
