We’re looking for a confident and people‑focused Employee Relations Advisor to join us for a 4‑month fixed‑term contract. You’ll be part of a knowledgeable, friendly team who work together to deliver exceptional guidance to managers and employees across the UK and ROI.

Employee Relations Advisor

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing clear, consistent advice on a wide range of ER matters
  • Supporting with absence management, welfare concerns and OH referrals
  • Advising on performance, disciplinary, grievance and AWOL cases
  • Guiding managers through appeals and flexible working requests
  • Helping drive proactive absence management and smooth returns to work
  • Promoting key risk assessments (maternity, stress, DSE and more)
  • Supporting conversations around mental health and workplace wellbeing
  • Keeping cases up‑to‑date in our ER case management system
  • Acting as a first point of escalation for ER Assistants

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in an ER advisory role
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and ER processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Desirable Skills:

  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it)
  • Experience in a shared service or high‑volume ER environment
  • Experience with case management systems

What you’ll also need:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work at pace
  • High attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player
  • Comfortable working remotely with reliable WiFi
