Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, proactive, creative and collaborative Manager to join Visa’s European Employee Communications team. The Manager will support the team in devising and executing multi-channel campaigns and initiatives targeted to employees that inform leaders and colleagues about the company’s strategic business priorities, cultural programmes, and when appropriate large-scale change.

The ideal candidate should be interested in exploring all aspects of employee communications and bring an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a European role and will require closely partnering with the wider Global and European Corporate Communications team as well as functions from across our diverse business to create integrated campaigns and ensure a consistent and aligned experience is delivered to employees across the region.

Responsibilities:
•    Support the regional executive team to deliver strategic communications and events designed to engage, inspire, enable and align employees with our strategy and priorities.
•    Support communications plans and programmes for Visa’s culture and transformation initiatives, including the company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), Visa Leadership Principles, and open and transparent communications
•    Partner with key groups and functions outside of Corporate Communications to support strategic plans and initiatives.
•    Write and edit content as needed, including digital copy, intranet articles, draft organisational announcements for partners and leaders, talking points, speaker scripts, event invitations, and presentation slides.
•    Develop and realise digital assets in support of campaigns and initiatives – working closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners. 
•    Partner with and support the wider Global and European Corporate Communications team as well as market communication colleagues in region to ensure message alignment and campaign effectiveness.
•    Support internal events including executive site visits, town halls, annual kick-off and marquee moments – invitations, briefing books, liaising and coordinating with key stakeholders, logistics, pre and post event promotion etc
•    Assist with reporting and tracking metrics to ensure success is measured against campaign and activation goals as well as highlighting lessons learned and addressing areas for improvement.
•    Work closely and collaboratively with agency partners and help manage campaign budgets, ensuring alignment with procurement and contract processes. 
•    When appropriate, support the Europe Corporate Communications team respond to crisis scenarios by undertaking an appropriate communications role and responsibility, ensuring ability to respond out of hours in the most severe crisis scenarios. 
•    Uploading content to our internal digital platforms – Insite, digital screens, Engage - and sending employee wide memos on behalf of the European Leadership Tea

Qualifications

Basic skills
•    Confident communicator with strong oral, written, editing and presentation skills.
•    Ability to work as a team player and collaborate cross-functionally. 
•    Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing dynamic environment.
•    Natural storyteller who can help our employees understand the strategic journey we are on and their role in it.
•    Self-starter, who is nimble, flexible and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
•    Skilled in working with PowerPoint, MS Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, Viva Engage etc.
•    A desire for continuous learning and an eagerness to accept feedback in order to learn and grow professionally. 


Preferred skills 
•    Experience in internal communications/employee engagement. 
•    Demonstrable understanding of the tech and/or fintech and payment space.
•    Experience/understanding of running internal social media channels a plus.
