- This role offers the opportunity to join a high‑performing desk operating in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where market insight, quantitative thinking and client focus come together to drive commercial outcomes
As an Associate on the EM FX Trading desk, you’ll play an integral role in supporting the desk’s market‑making and risk‑taking activities. Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Assisting in pricing EM FX products, including spot, forwards, and NDFs, across a range of currencies and time zones
- Supporting the desk with intraday risk management, P&L monitoring, and position analysis
- Enhancing and maintaining trading tools, models, and analytical frameworks to improve pricing efficiency and desk productivity
- Monitoring macroeconomic developments, EM central bank actions, political events, and market flows to help inform trading strategies
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Structuring, Quant, and Research teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients
- Ensuring adherence to all trading, conduct, and risk policies while fostering a culture of control, transparency, and responsible risk-taking
- Contributing to the ongoing development of electronic trading capabilities and data‑driven decision‑making
You’ll have experience in FX, rates or EM markets along with a demonstrable understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics and FX products.
