In this role, you will be providing day to day financial support to the EMEA management team via financial analysis as well as business decision support. This position will report to the APOC EMEA Area Controller and will work closely with APOC International Headquarter and country commercial teams.

Primary Objective of Position

  • Own FP&A Processes within EMEA coordinating activities and working collaboratively with the FP&A Manager supporting to prepare the EMEA consolidations, review package completions and recycles.
  • Set-up all scheduled Proof of Concept (POC) planning activities working with country commercial leaders and APOC International Headquarters (such as the creation and distribution of all templates, schedules, instructions, guidelines and calendars).
  • Prepare and consolidate Financial forecasts (Plan/LBE/S&OP/Adhocs).
  • Deliver Margin Risk and Contingency analysis.
  • Create monthly management reporting, including robust analysis of actual results versus various benchmarks and at various currency exchange rates.
  • Present financial information into clear and concise value-added analysis.
  • Provide pricing guidance on commercial deals to ensure financial objectives are met and risk is minimized.
  • Streamline processes to deliver timely and meaningful financial information to both Europe GM, Europe country leaders and Europe Area Controller.
  • Collaborate with other divisional FP&A and IFO teams for establishment of local processes and overall financial reporting.
  • Establish and maintain a strong system of internal financial controls.
  • Effectively manage communication with and understand cultural differences of the affiliates to ensure alignment with Division and Corporate expectations.
  • Comply with the company’s policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives of Abbott Point of Care and Abbott Laboratories.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience; prior business partnering, and commercial FP&A experience preferred.
  • Customer oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Can do personality with positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Enjoys working in an international environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills are required, HFM/ SAP/TM1/Cognos/BI tools is a plus
  • Fluency in English.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment / global organization experience.
