Job Description
The UK & Hedge Fund team structures, prices and sells equity derivatives to financial institutions - we cover a range of clients on the desk including Hedge Funds and Institutions. Equity Derivatives Sales work closely with their clients and trading desks to find unique solutions to key client requirements, leveraging on J.P. Morgan's superior trading platform. Sales work closely with diverse departments of the bank ranging from Research to Structuring to Trading.
As an Equity Derivative Sales Analyst within the UK & Hedge Fund Sales Team, you will collaborate closely with trading and structuring desks, along with various internal departments, to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of key clients.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct sales coverage for Hedge Fund clients in the UK.
- Market Equity Derivatives products and ideas to clients.
- Execute trades and manage the trade lifecycle for Equity Derivatives products.
- Collaborate with trading, structuring and research desks as well as other asset classes in providing tailored solutions within the Equity Derivatives business.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Equity Derivatives
- Sales experience in the Banking industry
- Enquiring mind, perseverance, and ability to handle large amounts of information.
- Ability to understand and price simple and complex equity derivatives products.
- Confidence in dealing with people at all levels in the organization.
- Self-motivated with the drive to seek out new clients and business.
- Ability to pitch new ideas, communicate clearly, and establish relationships.
- Ability to remain focused under pressure.
