As an Associate in UK Investment Grade Credit Sales, you will join a high-performing team focused on revenue generation and client engagement. You will work directly with clients, gaining deep insight into their needs and helping them achieve their objectives. You will collaborate with colleagues across the team, contributing to both client success and internal growth.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with small to medium-sized institutional clients, understanding their individual requirements
  • Generate revenue by identifying and executing opportunities within the UK Investment Grade Credit market
  • Support day-to-day internal tasks and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to help them achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and support team objectives
  • Apply commercial acumen to extrapolate opportunities from client accounts
  • Explain complex topics and products clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue future opportunities for business growth
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg to support client and team activities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience in a markets-based role, preferably within Credit
  • Excellent technical and numerical skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities within client accounts
  • Ability to understand and explain complex topics and products to others
  • Strategic thinker, able to identify future growth opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Python experience beneficial
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, real-time market environment and remain focused on client needs

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence as assessed by the Firm and, where appropriate, approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
