Job Description
Join our team as the EMEA Regional Design & Construction Cost Management Head, where you will play a pivotal role in managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence cost strategies and contribute to the success of our regional projects.
As an EMEA Regional Design & Construction Cost Management Head in Global Real Estate team, you will oversee budgeting and cost management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to financial closure. You will ensure that management and design decisions are informed by accurate capital and expense inputs, aligning with JPMorgan Chase's commercial objectives and technical requirements.
Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic procurement program for cost consultant engagements and services across the region
  • Key resource to the development of the capital plan for ongoing expense management plans in coordination with Finance
  • Closely working with project team and consultants to develop the capital funding forecast for approval
  • Work closely and provide professional advice with procurement, the D&C PMO and project management team in the procurement of construction and supply contracts
  • Proactive management of cost consultants to ensure design change cost implications are priced, ACRs updated and with the PMO ensure proper approvals are secured
  • Responsible for ensuring the project ACR is timely, factual and risk managed
  • An active and thoughtful adviser in product/material selections and value engineering exercises
  • Support global initiative on cost and planning metrics, progress reports, dashboard reporting, ACR database and metrics of actual space utilization/density
  • Support the PMO office and Finance in achieving timely project financial closure


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Professional degree in construction, quantity surveying, or engineering.
  • Extensive work experience in cost management, with a focus on corporate accounts and interior work.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and industry-standard project management tools.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with regional cost management and market nuances.
  • Strong programming skills and ability to manage complex financial data.
