The role focuses on investment reporting, reconciliation, analytics, and collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and insights for the EMEA segment.

MGCC - Manager EMEA, Investment Reporting & Analytics
Primary Position Functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual reconciliation ledger to sub ledger and resolve material reconciling items.
• Prepare quarterly MD&A analytics in USGAAP for EMEA segment for Lag entities and Non-Lag entities.
• Prepare quarterly QRT and annual QRT reports.
• Prepare planning and projection data files for EMEA Investment report along with investment analytic attribution analyses.
• Prepare reports and analysis for Solvency I and Solvency II for Investment report group.
• Reconcile summary level projections from country to cusp level holdings from investment data warehouse
• Develop NII projection by major asset category.
• Identify data classification gaps and work with different functional groups and IT team for timely resolution for data remediation.
• Partner with regional/sub-regional controller, finance group, functional groups and IT group for data testing.
• Partner Stateside team and London team for various Investment reporting UAT testing.
• Plan workflow for all deliverables in advance of monthly/quarterly/annual activities.
• Gather information to anticipate and understand investment trends and transactions.
• Complete special requests and ad-hoc reports as requested.
Education Requirements and Technical Skills
• Commerce Graduate with 10+ years of experience in public and/or private company environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Investment reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting.
• Experience in financial services accounting/reporting preferred.
• Advanced MS advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, managerial, communication & analytical skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, resolve problems and ability to meet deadlines are required.
• Must be able to work with multiple departments in the compilation of data and the reporting of financial information.
