EMEA FP&A Manager
PPG IndustriesEMEAAs an EMEA FP&A Manager, you will perform reporting and ad hoc analyses for long-range planning and strategy development. You will also provide business insights support to increase the growth and profitability of the business. You will work with the Architectural LT Finance Team, Country Finance Managers and Analysts to ensure accuracy, understanding, standardization and consistency in reporting and analysis.
You will report to the Global Finance Manager AC EMEA/AP.
Location is flexible within EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
• Support monthly closing and business review processes, including the compilation, reporting, explanation, and presentation of monthly financial results.
• Guide forecasting processes including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Play an active role in the AC EMEA IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process and in driving forecast accuracy improvement.
• Provide financial data and insight for preparation of Strategic Review, profit plan and quarterly forecasts.
• Capture and analyze market, competitive, headcount and economic data to support strategy development, new product planning, segment/customer profitability and cost control actions.
• Develop interactive economic models that support “What If” scenarios of material/process changes and provide valuable insights through Business case analysis
• Provide financial support, and ad hoc analysis to facilitate our performance understanding on monthly basis.
• Evaluate and propose opportunities to improve working capital and cash flow.
• Help improve functional excellence by supporting global finance projects such as CFIN and Anaplan implementation.
• Support management reporting simplification and standardization across the regions, embracing new tools, new ways of working and best practice sharing.
• Prepare and send Daily Sales Reporting, global weekly report, and assist leadership team with Operating Committee and Global Leadership Team presentations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's in finance, accounting, economics or similar required.
• At least five years of finance experience, preferably within FP&A.
• Natural capability in handling data.
• Strong process discipline
• Curious, proactive and willing to learn
