As a Vice President or Executive Director Oil and Gas Research Analyst within the EMEA Equity Research team, you will work under the mentorship of senior analysts to develop thought-leading company, sector, and thematic reports. You will deliver stock and sector insights to our institutional clients, empowering them to make well-informed investment decisions. Your role will involve collaborating with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams globally, and building strong relationships with external clients and corporate management teams.
Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze companies and thematic trends within the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Develop and maintain financial models with an analytical approach.
  • Deliver stock and sector insights to institutional clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams globally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and corporate management teams.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for a team-focused environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong numeracy skills.
  • Great attention to detail and an analytical approach.
  • Proven track record of relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to distill complex issues into specific conclusions.
  • Extensive background in Oil and Gas.


This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
