About the role

As an Email Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in co-planning and co-delivering data-driven, personalised email programmes for our flagship MWC and M360 events. Working closely with colleagues across Editorial, Content, Social, Web, Design and Analytics, you will help shape audience journeys and deliver campaigns that are aligned, insight-led and performance-focused.

You will support complete lifecycle campaign execution, from planning, segmentation and build, through to testing, measurement and optimisation. You will use SFMC, MCP, AMPscript, SQL and Einstein insights to bring journeys to life, influence channel decisions, and contribute to shared KPI outcomes across the campaign team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build, improve, experiment, and collaborate.

Key Responsibilities

Co-plan and co-deliver campaigns
•    Collaborate with Web, Social, Content and Analytics to create integrated campaign plans with shared KPIs and coordinated timelines.
•    Input into segmentation, personalisation and user-journey planning across channels
•    Ensure email touchpoints align with the broader narrative, content calendar and digital roadmap.

Execute and optimise campaigns
•    Build and deploy responsive, dynamic email campaigns in SFMC using HTML/CSS, Content Builder, AMPscript and SQL
•    Create and execute customer journeys in Journey Builder and automations in Automation Studio.
•    Deliver MCP personalised experiences, including recipes, segmentation, and decisioning

Test, measure and continuously improve
•    Run A/B and multivariate tests on content, timing, subject lines and layouts
•    Interpret Einstein insights, campaign dashboards and analytics to drive optimisation
•    Share learnings across the wider Digital Marketing team to influence future cross-channel planning

Champion best practice
•    Uphold brand, accessibility and deliverability standards
•    Ensure lifecycle, trigger and BAU programmes are maintained and continually enhanced
•    Contribute ideas that advance personalisation and marketing maturity across the team

About You

You are a technically skilled, data-driven Email Marketer with advanced hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Personalisation, ideally in a fast-paced, campaign-centric environment. You work naturally in cross-functional teams, are comfortable co-owning outcomes and enjoy experimenting to drive measurable gains.

You bring:
•    Advanced SFMC experience (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder)
•    AMPscript, HTML/CSS and SQL proficiency
•    Understanding of MCP decisioning and audience segmentation
•    Experience with lifecycle, trigger and event-focused email workflows
•    A testing mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a drive for continuous optimisation

What You’ll Gain

•    The opportunity to master SFMC and MCP in a complex, global environment
•    A seat at the table in planning multi-channel campaigns for world-leading events
•    Collaboration with specialists across social, web, design, content and data
•    A culture that values innovation, experimentation and shared success
