We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team, working remotely.

We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager for the Digital Marketing department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy for Marketo programs for our laboratory product division, understanding how to leverage the platform for the most effective customer journey. This involves end to end management of email marketing campaigns and liaising with other digital channel stakeholders (SEO/web, social media etc.) as well as campaign managers internally.

This position is available full – time and based remotely in the United Kingdom. We are looking forward to shaping the future with you.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • On a daily basis, you will manage each element of email and marketing automation campaigns including setup, targeting, testing, deployment, and data monitoring and occasional creative development

  • You will be responsible for driving comprehensive Marketo reporting sessions with business partners to provide insights on content performance and recommendations on content & communication improvements 

  • You will build, test and analyse new customer segments

  • You need to provide analysis and reporting on campaign performance, channel strategy, and the database/audience growth

  • Develop optimization and email communication improvement strategies based on performance results

  • Do you enjoy collaborating? You will partner with other digital leads to leverage/align our strategies and take advantage of Marketo integrations

  • Develop and implement a thorough testing strategy for email

  • Own the Marketo reporting – develop new templates and reports to streamline this process

  • Continue to innovate/think of new ways to leverage Marketo to reach prospects/leads/customers à video analytics integrations, interactive content, sales insight tools, aligning with sales enablement teams

What will convince us 

  • BSc in business administration, marketing, communications, media or relevant field

  • Industry experience in developing and executing email campaign programs

  • Marketo experience, ideally hold an up to date Adobe Marketo Engage Certification (Certified Professional Level) or Eloqua equivalent

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills such as Word and Excel

  • Strong project management, problem solving and resource management skills

  • Enjoy working to tight deadlines and be flexible

  • Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic

  • Enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with other departments

  • Knowledge of biotech and life science industry would be beneficial though it’s not necessary
