Join us as an Email Designer

  • Joining the email marketing centre of excellence, you’ll be responsible for the design and build of email templates for our marketing communications
  • This is an important role in which you’ll be the voice of the bank and deliver vital information
  • This role is available for a period of eight months, and you’ll be expected to come to office at least two days a week

What you'll do

As an Email Designer, you’ll design responsive mobile-first emails that are on-brand, consistent and follow email best practice. You’ll also review campaign briefs, oversee quality assurance and provide email design expertise to the wider team.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Presenting solutions on how to structure email campaigns using campaign briefs, copy documents and data specs, taking ideas from conception through to approval
  • Using your creative skills to design and edit artwork that adhere to the brand guidelines
  • Providing expertise on email personalisation, segmentation, and dynamic content
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure agreed SLAs and processes are met, holding regular design review sessions and making amendments where required
  • Collaborating with the Email Operations team to ensure the templates can be integrated efficiently within our ESP

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for somebody with experience of email design within a highly regulatory environment. You’ll have experience building emails using both a modular drag-and-drop interface and HTML/CSS, along with the capability to conceptualise and create imagery to be used within the templates. Experience using Stensul is preferred but is not mandatory.

You’ll also need:

  • The ability to manage and deliver multiple campaigns, within tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of email design and typography best practice
  • Creative experience designing static/animated images and amending existing artwork, using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience and understanding of financial services or other highly regulatory environment
